“15 to Review” Campaign Kickoff

Please join the Washington Coalition for Parole for a community briefing on upcoming parole issues in Washington State.

Come learn how the Coalition for Parole is preparing for the 2016 legislative session, and how you can help make a review process a reality for the men and women with life or effective life sentences.

Your participation is critical to building the political strength needed to pass 2016 legislation which will create a review process for those who have been incarcerated at least 15 years.

Agenda:

  1. Why is a review process needed?

  2. Rep. Roger Goodman discusses the political reality of parole

  3. Details of proposed legislation

  4. Community involvement and action steps

When: Saturday, June 20th from 1 pm to 5 pmWhere: Rainier Valley Cultural Center (3515 S. Alaska Street)RSVP HERE
