Trying to find Native American reading for inmates. I am a Chaplain at a women’s prison and have zero resources for Native American women.
Hi Jessica,
This has historically been a difficult genre for us to source, as well. It doesn’t help that indigenous people are historically underrepresented in the publishing industry, or bookstores on the outside, as well. I don’t know of any resources that could help you offhand, but if I find any, I’ll let you know.
Hello ! my name is Ryan Seabolt I’m the Chaplain at Salem Correctional Center in West Virginia
I’ve had a few inmates inquire about Hindu books /literature would you have something on this religion that you would consider donating to the facility so I could have something on hand.
we are an intake unit and if I allow individuals to order there is a good possibility they may not be here if it takes a possible four months to receive an order. Thank you.
Hi Ryan. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to make a donation of Hindu books to your facility’s library. If we get a large donation of books on that topic in the future we will reach out to you.
Thanks,
-M
