Books We Need - January 2026

Happy New Year! As we enter 2026 please consider donating books! Donations are the lifeline of Books to Prisoners and enable us to continue our work. We are specifically looking for the following genres and titles. We accept new and used books and have a strong preference for paperbacks, although we will accept hardbacks as well.
Fiction:
Fantasy
Horror
Non Fiction:
Beyond Bars
Prisoner’s Self-Help Litigation Manual
A few used copies are available on ebay and other sites.
If you have new or gently-used paperbacks to donate on these subjects, email us at bookstoprisoners@live.com to make arrangements to donate them.
Or, order new ones from our wish lists. Just make your choice and buy online. The bookstores will make sure we receive them. Your gift of a new book makes it possible for us to fill requests from people in prisons that won't accept used books.

To get these books into the hands of the people who need them, we must pay for postage and wrapping material. Postage is our single largest expense. We spend $5-6 per package. Please consider giving money along with your donation of books. Here's how.
